St. Patrick Hospital, commonly known as St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center, is a healthcare facility in Missoula, Montana.

St. Patrick Hospital is the only level II trauma center in western Montana, northern Idaho, and Southwest Montana.[1] The hospital employs more than 1,600 people and is the second largest employer in the Missoula area.[2] It has 237 beds,[3] and is the only hospital in western Montana other than Community Medical Center that has helicopter facilities.[4]
St. Patrick Hospital also hosts the International Heart Institute.[5] St. Patrick Hospital is located in the Downtown Missoula district; Missoula a thriving city, and college town that has around 66,000 people in its primary city and around 109,000 people in Missoula County, Montana
The present facility opened in 1984, and is the fourth on the property, which sits above the Clark Fork River. The name was officially changed from "St. Patrick Hospital" to "St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center" in May 2000.
Just south to the actual St. Patrick Hospital is the Health & Sciences Center which is a 6 floor building with 2 underground parking lots. It was completed in March 2002 and has stood as one of the tallest buildings in Western Montana since its completion. The building replaced the old Broadway Building , and the new building obtained the same name. The first floor is occupied mainly for outpaitent services, which some doctor offices. The second floor is also doctor offices. The third floor is mainly the Health Sciences center, and also outpaitent services as well. The fourth floor is occupied by the Western Montana Clinic. the fifth floor is mainly the Montana Cancer research Center. Finally the sixth floor is occupied by the Montana Neuroscience Institute.[6]
